A Family Bringing the North to Ireland

We didn't set out to build a skincare business. We set out to find products we could genuinely trust — for four daughters with different skin, different needs, and a childhood full of questions about what was really in the bottle.

Raising four daughters means years spent navigating beauty aisles, reading ingredient labels, and watching how skin reacts. Mainstream products were full of promises but short on transparency — fragrance blends that masked chemical cocktails, serums built on 70% tap water, certifications that meant almost nothing on closer inspection.

We started looking further north.

Nordic skincare kept standing apart — not because of clever marketing, but because of what was actually inside the formulas. Waterless bases. Wild-harvested botanicals. Independently verified certifications like ECOCERT and COSMOS. Founders who could name every ingredient and explain exactly why it was there.

That level of integrity was rare. And once we found it, we couldn't unsee the difference.

That question wouldn't go away. Ireland had no dedicated home for Nordic clean beauty. The brands we trusted — Nörre Nordic, Henua Organics, NUORI, True Organic of Sweden — were either unavailable here or buried in generic European retailers with no context, no story, no real reason to trust them.

So we built one. Nordic Skincare Ireland is a family business, built around the same values that led us to these brands in the first place: ingredient honesty, real sourcing relationships, and products that genuinely work for the skin conditions we live with in Ireland.

We work directly with Nordic founders — not distributors — bringing their brands to Ireland with the full story behind each one. Every product we carry is one we've used, tested, and chosen because of what's in it.

Our daughters are still our most honest critics. That's exactly as it should be.
