Nörre Nordic grew from something deeply personal. As a young adult, Laura struggled with severe acne that commercial skincare only made worse. Frustrated and searching for answers, she began researching the ingredients behind the products she was using — and discovered that many contained substances actively triggering the problem.

Her instinct was to turn to nature. She began experimenting with natural plant oils, and for the first time, her skin genuinely responded. That discovery changed the course of everything that followed.

"I wanted to create a brand that didn't just help its customers but also contributed positively to the planet."

After completing a Master's degree in business and working in corporate sustainability departments, Laura witnessed firsthand how many large companies treated sustainability as a marketing trend rather than a genuine commitment. She left to build something different — a brand rooted in real values from the very first formulation.

Rooted in the Arctic

Born from Finland's Wild Landscape

Finland covers more than 75% forest, with thousands of lakes, clean soil, and some of the purest air on earth. For Laura, this landscape was both home and source material. Surrounded by Arctic herbs and wild-growing plants shaped by extreme seasons, she began experimenting with these botanicals in her own formulations — and found results she couldn't get from anything else.

The wildcrafted herbs of the Finnish Arctic develop a natural potency unlike plants grown in milder climates. Long winters and short, intensely lit summers force them to concentrate protective compounds as a survival response. Every Nörre Nordic product draws on this concentrated strength.

The name "Nörre" means north — a direct nod to the Nordic forests and landscapes that form the soul of the brand.

Nörre Nordic was founded on a belief that the rituals we return to each day have the power to shape how we feel. "Rituals Rewilded" means creating skincare in genuine partnership with nature — supporting the skin's natural balance while respecting the landscapes that make those rituals possible.

This means formulating with whole-plant Arctic botanicals, working in small batches, and crafting products that feel as restorative to use as the Finnish landscape they come from. No filler ingredients. No unverified claims — only independently certified products that do what they say.

How They're Made

From Plant to Product

Some of the botanicals in Nörre Nordic products are grown in Laura's own herb garden. Others are responsibly wildcrafted from the surrounding Finnish landscape, harvested by hand at peak potency and carefully prepared season by season.

Every product is formulated by Laura herself — from selecting the herbs and creating botanical infusions, to refining each formula until it reflects the character of the landscape it came from. Production happens in small batches, ensuring freshness, traceability, and consistent quality from start to finish.

This is the opposite of factory skincare. It is slow, intentional, and deeply connected to the land — craftsmanship that cannot be scaled without losing what makes it extraordinary.
